By 2050, over 70 percent of the world’s population is expected to live in cities. Challenges related to population density, water supply, climate change, aging infrastructure, traffic congestion, and natural and man-made hazards amplify the risks and threaten the quality of life of urban residents. Cities around the world know the demands and challenges they face, but they are also waking up to the opportunities today’s technology brings!
Smart cities, what are they? How do you build one? Who makes cities smart?
